I was recently asked to put together some links for the 4th grade teachers at PME for researching inventors. This is something I love to do! I get a special little thrill out of finding resources that I think will be perfect for the situation! What was really nice in this situation was that the teachers gave me a list of the inventors and their inventions that each student would be researching. This gave me the opportunity to make sure that I had something for everyone, and I really like that, because I could feel assured that every student would have success.
I used one of my favorite tools, Livebinders, to create this resource. Livebinders is a tool that allows you to group files together, much like the way you would do with paper copies in a file cabinet. I find it to be easy to use, relatively quick to set up, and flexible enough that I can organize links just the way I want to.
If you have a group of resources that you'd like to organize into one group, give Livebinders a try. It is certain to meet (or exceed) your expectations!
